Professor Moroccan, Latifa Halim, held two conferences on literature in Oslo.

Professor Moroccan, Latifa Halim, held two conferences in September at the University of Oslo on "Women of Ibsen from a Moroccan" and "Moroccan women's literature." At the Research Center for Women and Gender at the University of Oslo, under the theme "Moroccan women's literature," Professor Halim mainly talked about the history of Moroccan women's literature before and during the french protectorate, and after Independence. At the conference "Women of Ibsen from a Moroccan", held at the Centre for Ibsen studies the next day, Professor Halim analyzed the play of Ibsen's "A Doll's House" d A Moroccan point of view. "I was happy to be in this beautiful country of Norway, where women have contributed to the evolution of feminist thinking universal," Ms Halim said after his visit to Oslo that has been achieved through a collaboration between the University of Oslo, the writer M. Walid al-Kubaisi, the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Rabat and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway. The conferences have fl organized by the University of Oslo with the assistance of professors Irene Iversen and Gunvor Mejdell, and Mr. Walid al-Kubaisi. Following this fruitful cultural collaboration between Morocco and Norway, a conference on Norwegian literature and Moroccan is planned for next year at Mohammed V University in Rabat.
